What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Developing insights through detailed financial modeling and reporting the findings to key stakeholders including functional leaders to make strategic decisions
  • Maintaining and improving the Company’s financial models, including operating / projections models and annual budget
  • Supporting the Capital Markets team with analytical insights and diligence requests
  • Monitoring and analyzing unit economics and impact on the Company’s profitability
  • Assisting with and vetting of models generated by functional leaders and their teams
  • Closely working with the CEO with business analytics and mission critical projects
  • Supporting efforts on competitive analysis, market intelligence, and other go-to-market focused projects
  • Responding to the reporting needs of Clearco’s leadership and Board of Directors
  • Contributing to investor relations and a range of cross-functional special projects led by the head of FP&A

You will thrive if you have the following:

  • 2+ years in investment banking, specifically in M&A, financial restructuring or leveraged finance
  • A CPA, CFA, or MBA with demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis is a plus
  • Prior experience with debt products and/or fintech
  • Extensive experience (and demonstrated skill) in modeling integrated, balancing 3-statement financial models
  • Experience building trading and transaction comparables analyses as well detailed competitive analysis
  • Experience building top down and bottoms up revenue models
  • Experience modeling 13 week cash flows a plus
  • Immaculate attention to detail
  • The ability to clearly communicate digestible financial information to all levels of management
  • Superior critical thinking and detail-oriented skills - you can analyze and visualize complex financial concepts to ensure continuous improvement across the organization
  • A strong work ethic and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced organization where employees are sometimes asked to contribute to a variety of enterprise priorities
  • Previous experience with systems such as, Tableau and Salesforce is a plus
